The Story Behind the Collection

The collection is built around a graphic novel narrative titled ‘Defend Our Pitch’. The storyline unites football, rugby, and Marvel superheroes in a fictional conflict. According to the release, a ROXXON satellite tears a hole in reality, allowing Ultron and his army to invade. The action shifts between two iconic locations – the Santiago Bernabéu and the All Blacks’ training ground – as the Avengers arrive to defend the pitch.
