Adidas has launched a limited collection remake of the F50 Ghosted “UCL,” drawing direct inspiration from the iconic f50 adiZERO Prime released a decade ago. The new edition retains the lightweight upper of the original while adding a modern Carbitex carbon-fiber insert.
Design and Construction
The limited-edition boot features the same lightweight upper found on the 2011 adiZERO Prime. A Carbitex carbon-fiber insert has been added to bring a contemporary performance element.
Weight Considerations
When first released, the adiZERO Prime weighed only 5.2 ounces, making it the lightest football boot on the market at the time. Adidas has not yet announced whether this remake matches that weight or if the upgraded soleplate adds any extra grams.
