Leo Messi’s latest football boots arrive as part of the “Balón te adoro” (I adore you, ball) collection. This special pack celebrates a player’s devotion to the game, and the face of the collection is the all-time record holder for Ballon d’Or awards.
The base silo is the adidas X Speedportal in its .1 version with laces, the same model used by the Argentine star. No technological changes have been applied; the only update is the decoration that transforms standard boots into Leo Messi’s exclusive new design.
Design and Colourway
The boots feature a white base with striking orange accents. The words running across the midsole represent Messi’s relationship with the ball: “Juntos, preferido o inseparables” (Together, favourite or inseparable) appear in orange on the white background. The same orange colour is used on the laces and on the new external heel counter, called the STABILITY WING.
Inner Upper and Branding
On the inside of the boot, black takes centre stage as the backdrop for orange logos and wording on the upper. The three adidas stripes are filled with this same black colour, maintaining the classic brand identity.
