AS Roma has officially confirmed a new multi-year partnership with German sportswear brand Adidas, beginning with the 2023/24 season. The move marks a nostalgic return for the Giallorossi, who previously wore Adidas kits from 1977 to 1979 and again from 1991 to 1994. It was during the latter period that a young Francesco Totti made his Serie A debut wearing the iconic wolf-emblazoned jersey.
Design and Heritage
The centrepiece of the new collection is the wolf cub, a true AS Roma icon originally designed by Pietro Gratton in 1978. The Adidas logo is featured on the opposite side of the shirt.
Sustainability and Performance
The shirt is designed to make athletes feel good, using AEROREADY technology for moisture management. It is made from 100% recycled materials as part of an effort to combat plastic pollution.
Key Details
The shirt features a V-neck with a yellow finish on a red background. On the back, the phrase “Daje Roma Daje” (“Come on Roma, come on” in Roman dialect) pays homage to the fans.
Who Will Wear the Kit
The new collection will be worn by AS Roma’s first team, the women’s team (current Italian champions), the youth teams, and the eSports team.
