AS Roma has revealed their new kit for the upcoming season, following the trend of classic, understated designs seen across many clubs. The jersey combines traditional elements with subtle modern touches, reflecting the values of the club and the city of Rome.
Design Highlights
The kit features Roma’s signature red and yellow colours. A notable design detail is the use of horizontal stripes across the chest area, a style that recalls the 1979–80 Coppa Italia-winning season. This stripe pattern also appeared on the club’s 2020–21 jersey. The chest area incorporates different shades of the same colours, giving the shirt depth without straying far from the club’s classic look.

Zaniolo as Brand Ambassador
Roma selected young attacking midfielder Nicolò Zaniolo as the brand ambassador for the new kit. He shared his personal connection to the jersey with a message that resonated with fans:
“It’s like when you fall in love: you feel good with her, she brings out the best in you, you like being seen out and about with her. It’s exactly the same: I love this jersey.”

A Nod to the Past
The design deliberately revisits Roma’s history while bringing it into the present. By referencing the success of the 1979–80 Coppa Italia campaign, the kit aims to evoke the spirit of the club’s great stars of the past, with the hope that the new generation will mark a similar turning point.
