Aston Villa and adidas Unveil 25/26 Third Shirt with Trefoil Logo

Aston Villa and adidas have released the third shirt for the 2025/26 season, a design inspired by the iconic stained glass windows of Villa Park. The kit features the adidas Trefoil logo for the first time in the club’s history, blending football heritage with contemporary streetwear.

Design Inspired by Villa Park’s Stained Glass

The shirt takes its visual cues from the stained glass windows that have been a permanent fixture at Villa Park since its opening in 1897. For the first time, adidas has translated that architectural detail into a fabric design. A light base is overlaid with abstract, swirling shapes in soft shades of blue, pink and purple, intended to echo the luminous play of light through glass. Subtle maroon trims on the shoulders tie the design back to Aston Villa’s traditional colours, while the club’s lion crest is placed at the centre of the shirt.

adidas Trefoil Makes Aston Villa Debut

A notable feature of the third shirt is the presence of the adidas Trefoil logo.
