Como Women and Nike Unveil 2025/26 Home and Away Kits in The Next Wave Campaign

F.C. Como Women have released their 2025/26 home and away kits, exactly one year after forming their landmark partnership with Nike. The launch, titled The Next Wave, blends football with fashion and the club’s independent identity, set against the scenic backdrop of Lake Como and locations such as Villa Pizzo and the Luisita café.

Kit Design: Black and White Stripes Refined

Both the home and away shirts feature vertical black and white stripes, clean-lined and balanced in tone. The two kits share the same design language, combining tradition with a forward-looking aesthetic. Nike’s tailoring uses high-spec performance fabrics with minimalist detailing, allowing the club’s identity to remain central.

Campaign and Player Voices

Midfielder Nadine Nischler fronts the campaign alongside Australian international Alexandra Chidiac, captain Giulia Rizzon, Katja Schroffenegger, Ramona Petzelberger, Astrid Gilardi, Liucija Vaitukaitytė, and Zara Kramzar. Academy players, fans, and long-time community members also feature, reflecting the inclusive spirit of The Next Wave.

“We are not anyone’s women’s team. We are F.C. Como Women. And this jersey tells our story,” said Nischler.

Independent Model and Ambition

Como Women are one of the few truly independent women’s clubs in Europe, operating outside the structure of a men’s team. “This is a club that does not live in the shadow of men,” Chidiac stated. The club is backed by Mercury 13, a multi-club group investing solely in women’s football, supporting a vision of autonomy, ambition, and impact.
