Corinthians and Nike have launched their new third shirt for the 2025/26 season, drawing directly from the iconic Total 90 era that defined the club’s unforgettable 2005 side. The kit, released under the banner “Total Corinthians,” combines a blacked-out design with bold orange accents and retro typography.

Design Inspired by the Total 90 Era

The shirt is entirely black with striking orange accents. The Nike Swoosh sits on the right side of the chest, and the Corinthians crest appears in the same vibrant orange. Sleeve and collar trims echo the 2005 template, while the classic Total 90 circle returns to house the player number beneath the Swoosh. A reworked font, taken directly from the mid-2000s, completes the nostalgic look. Inside the collar, the “T90” insignia is embroidered at the nape. Black shorts and socks with orange detailing finish the blackout aesthetic.

A Tribute to the 2005 Squad

Club officials have emphasised the emotional weight of the design. “Corinthians is made of stories that cross time and shirts that carry meanings far beyond the four lines,” said Vinicius Manfredi, the club’s marketing superintendent. “Reliving 2005 with this mantle is to pay homage to a generation that marked the club forever and, at the same time, inspire the new protagonists who today wear this shirt with the same pride.”

Nike’s Fisia marketing director Renato Aguiar added: “This shirt represents a bridge between generations. Total 90 was a symbol of an era marked by innovation and boldness in football, and Corinthians, with its historical achievements and legendary characters, is the ideal stage to revive and reinvent this heritage.”

Campaign and Visual Identity

The accompanying campaign, shot by Wieden+Kennedy SP, puts the current generation of Corinthians players front and centre. Rodrigo Garro, Matheuzinho, Vitinho, André Ramalho, and women’s striker Jhonson feature prominently, embodying the same intensity that made the 2005 side unforgettable. Visuals draw on Corinthian mythology and Nike nostalgia: rock-carved sculptures of players, seven fish referencing a famous rout at Pacaembu, a sculpted goal recalling Nike’s “Cage” activation, and the classic Total 90 ball making its return.

The new kit will make its on-field debut in the next round of the Brazilian Championship on Sunday, 28 September.
