Fernando Torres – A Limited Edition Tribute in Japan

Fernando Torres is widely regarded as one of the finest strikers of his generation, achieving success at both club and international level. During his spells in Spain and England, the Spanish forward won major honours including the winning goal for Spain in the Euro 2008 final, the Best Striker award at Euro 2012, and winner’s medals from Euro 2008, Euro 2012 and the 2010 FIFA World Cup. In 110 appearances for La Roja, Torres scored 38 goals. At club level, he netted over 250 goals across La Liga and the Premier League.

Morelia Neo II F9T – Fernando Torres Limited Edition

This boot, created as a “Made in Japan” release by Mizuno, was developed through close collaboration with Torres as he approaches the end of his playing career with J1 League club Sagan Tosu. The design features a predominant white hue for a lightweight appearance on the pitch, while red and gold accents pay homage to the clubs and the Spanish national team he represented. Only 1,999 pairs have been manufactured, a number chosen to mark the year Torres signed his first professional contract in 1999.

Technical Characteristics

These lightweight, balanced boots are hand-made in Japan by Mizuno’s most skilled craftsmen. Each pair is placed on a last for 24 hours to ensure an immediate barefoot feel when worn for the first time. The upper is constructed from premium leather for excellent touch and comfort. The sole retains the Pebax construction with conical studs for strong traction and quick changes of direction. An outer heel counter provides stability and lockdown. The boots weigh only 180 grams.

Exclusive Details

Every pair of the F9T Made in Japan boots comes in a special box inspired by Kinpaku art. The box features the F9T logo, which was created specifically for this release and appears on the boots, the gym bag, and the laces inside the box.
