Known for its reliability in futsal footwear, the Toledo-based manufacturer has once again demonstrated why it remains a leading name in the competitive futsal market.
Designed for the Playoffs
Joma collaborated with the RFEF (Royal Spanish Football Federation) on a ball specifically created for the decisive matches of the season. This ball was chosen for the First Division and Women’s First Division title playoffs, as well as for the promotion playoffs to the First Division. The standout feature is its decoration in the colours of the Spanish flag, giving it a distinctive look that signals a special occasion.
Technical Features and Materials
The ball is designed in the colours of the Spanish national team and incorporates innovative technical characteristics. The outer layer is made of 3D microfibre PU with a rubber coating, providing a soft feel while ensuring grip on the court. The panels are stitched using strong, lightweight polyester thread. Inside, five overlapping layers combine to produce a ball suitable for professional use, meeting all requirements to achieve the FIFA Quality Mark.
Host City and Participating Teams
The playoffs took place in Málaga from 23rd to 30th of June. The men’s competition featured eight teams: El Pozo Murcia, Viña Albali Valdepeñas, Inter Movistar, Palma Futsal, Osasuna Xota, Levante Futsal, Jaén Paraíso Interior, and reigning champions Barça Lassa.
Technology continues to make its way into futsal footwear and equipment, and Joma caters to traditionalists, trendsetters, and those who prefer a blend of both. The new ball took centre stage at the Costa del Sol arena.
