Lincoln City have unveiled their home kit for the 2025/26 season, blending club tradition with a tribute to George Boole, the renowned mathematician from the city. The new strip is a return to the classic red and white stripes, but with a hidden digital message: binary code running through the three central white stripes spells out “We Are Imps”.

The Inspiration Behind the Design

Designed by Oxen, the kit looks back to Lincoln’s history while celebrating one of its greatest minds. George Boole’s 19th‑century development of Boolean algebra laid the foundations for modern computing, from microchips to the algorithms that power everyday technology.

Binary Code Detail

The three central white stripes feature subtle binary code, a direct link to Boole’s work. This coded message turns the shirt into a wearable piece of the city’s heritage and connects the club to its intellectual roots.

Kit Design and Features

The shirt balances a classic appearance with a modern edge. Red dominates the sleeves, finished with a crisp black trim and ribbed cuffs. The black collar adds a refined touch, making the kit suitable both on the pitch and off it.
