Mitre Unveils Limited-Edition Gold FA Cup Winners’ Balls for 2025/26 Season

Mitre has introduced a limited-edition Winners’ Ball for the 2025/26 Emirates FA Cup and Adobe Women’s FA Cup, ahead of the Third Round and Fourth Round respectively. As the Official Ball Supplier for both competitions, the brand has produced a gold design reserved exclusively for the reigning champions—a visual statement of intent for the season.

Gold Balls for the Title Holders

Crystal Palace, the men’s FA Cup holders, and Chelsea, the women’s FA Cup holders, have each received a bespoke Winners’ Ball. The golden balls will be used exclusively by these clubs throughout their defence of the trophy.

First Appearances in Upcoming Rounds

Palace will debut the men’s Winners’ Ball this Saturday in the Emirates FA Cup Third Round against Macclesfield Town. Chelsea will follow a week later, using the women’s Winners’ Ball in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup Fourth Round at home to Crystal Palace. Should either team reach Wembley, the same ball will accompany them throughout the campaign.

For 2025/26, the Winners’ Ball is built on Mitre’s all-new Ultimax Pro platform—a modern evolution of a classic. The six-panel construction pays homage to the legendary Ultimax ball from the 1990s, blending heritage design with contemporary performance features. Wrapped in a gold finish, the ball is intended to serve as both a piece of match equipment and a badge of honour for the champions.
