New Balance has partnered with East London grassroots team Baiteze FC to create two limited-edition signature boots: the Furon v6 “Concrete Jungle” and the Tekela v3 “Views.” The designs celebrate the club’s Newham roots and the online football community that supports the Sunday League side.
Concrete Jungle: A Tribute to East London
The Furon v6 “Concrete Jungle” features a Gunmetal Grey and Alpha Orange color palette inspired by Newham’s skylines and sunsets. The soleplate displays a map of London’s eastern boroughs, with bold “East LDN” lettering. Custom touches include a tribute to Hackney Marshes, the Baiteze emblem on the heel, and a bespoke tag.
Matchday chants are integrated into the New Balance speed logo, while squad player names appear along the laces. Trophies adorn the inner sole as a reminder of the team’s weekly pursuit of silverware.
Baiteze Director Ose Egbejale commented:
“Baiteze FC is incredibly excited to have New Balance signature boots, it’s something we could never have imagined. Celebrating our East London roots and the online football community is very important to us, as both have played a huge part in our journey and success so far. We absolutely love the final product and can’t wait to wear them.”
Views: Celebrating the Online Football Community
The Tekela v3 “Views” boot arrives in Black with Iridescent tones, featuring a premium iridescent soleplate and a matching pyramid design on the heel. The graphic honours the ten internet teams involved in London’s grassroots scene.
The popular online phrase “Like Comment and Subscribe” is visible across the front, and “Baiteze” runs the length of the boot, with the lettering adapted to incorporate the community tribute. A thank-you message from the Sunday League team is printed on the inner sole.
Limited Release and Club Background
New Balance has produced only 10 pairs of each design. Founded in 2017, Baiteze Squad currently plays in the Essex Sunday Corinthian League, with home matches at Oakside Stadium.
