First introduced in 1968, the iconic boot line now celebrates its 75th anniversary with a unique design update. The new “Rudagon” pattern revives the brand’s earliest logo from 1948, applying an angular motif across the entire upper.
The Rudagon Design
The special edition features a black base with gold accents on the upper and soleplate. The name “Rudagon” combines the surname of Puma founder Rudolf Dassler with the Greek word “gonia” (meaning angle), forming a pentagon-inspired pattern. This distinctive logo extends across the boot in a striking gold finish, enhancing its visual appeal.
Technical Features
The upper returns to a more classic feel, with the Rudagon pattern imprinted across the surface. Conical studs on the soleplate provide enhanced stability and comfort. The boot prioritises touch and comfort while maintaining a structured build that retains the essential character of the Puma King line.
