The 2009 Mercurial Superfly was the lightest and fastest Mercurial ever created at its launch. Its next-generation Flywire technology wrapped the foot in a second-skin upper, offering a lightweight yet stronger, more dynamic fit. Beneath the streamlined exterior, a carbon-fibre soleplate delivered explosive acceleration, while strategically placed blades provided razor-sharp cuts and superior footing. The reengineered Teijin synthetic leather upper improves softness, while ultra-thin microfiber delivers a barely‑there touch for high-speed ball control. Integrated Flywire cables wrap around the foot and tighten with the laces, creating a secure, locked‑in fit.
