The second instalment of the Nike Future Lab Pack has arrived, applying a striking laser crimson colourway across multiple football boot ranges. While the pack cannot be enjoyed on the pitch as intended, the design draws inspiration from past Nike classics, notably the 2012 CTR III White/Bolt/Green colourway worn by Andrés Iniesta, Mario Balotelli, and Rafael van der Vaart. Notably, the Tiempo model is not included in this launch.
New Nike Football Boot Pack
Nike Phantom Vision II
The collection begins with the Nike Phantom Vision II, a boot already reviewed for its excellent comfort and fit. The upper combines Flyknit construction with an internal QuadFit mesh, delivering a secure and adaptive feel.

*Part One of the Future Lab Pack
The upper retains the Phantom essence while improving grip and fit through a reworked layout of grip elements and a more minimalist collar. The sole remains unchanged, featuring a semi-conical stud pattern suited for modern pitches. This boot is described as having no single flaw.

Nike Phantom Venom
The sister model, the Nike Phantom Venom, also wears the crimson and black colourway, giving it an aggressive look. These boots are designed to boost shooting power with Precision PWR technology, reminiscent of 1990s boots. The upper is made from well-constructed synthetic microfibre and is favoured by top strikers such as Robert Lewandowski, Edinson Cavani, and Mauro Icardi.

Nike Tiempo (Not Part of the Pack)
Although the Nike Tiempo is not part of the new Future Lab Pack, the classic boot continues to feature the same colourway. The crimson accent spreads across kangaroo leather, with black and white details at the back. The combination of classic materials with a synthetic heel counter provides a lighter fit and good stability, aided by Hyperstability technology. This boot is worn by players such as Sergio Ramos and Gerard Piqué.

Nike Mercurial
The Nike Mercurial is perhaps the best-suited boot for these colours. The eye-catching crimson design is combined with black, with details on the sole and side that include the exact coordinates of Nike’s headquarters – specifically the penalty spot on the Ronaldo pitch. The Flyknit construction offers a superior fit, while the aggressive grip supports explosive sprinting. These boots are worn by Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappé.

This new pack is a groundbreaking collection that stands out on the pitch. Special mention goes to the Mercurial, made even more special by the latitude detail. Which one is your favourite?
