The UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 was rescheduled due to the pandemic and will now begin on 6 July. Nike has released the official match ball for the tournament, featuring purple and pink colours on a white base, built on the Nike Flight platform used in domestic leagues throughout the year.
Design Features
The ball adopts geometric shapes with colour changes similar to other Nike Flight balls seen in 2022. The Flight logo appears in a more urban style, and silver details complete the design.
Technology
Nike Aerowsculpt Technology
The ball incorporates Nike Aerowsculpt technology, which optimises flight without sacrificing speed. The grooved construction contributes to its advanced aerodynamic performance.
All Conditions Control (ACC) Technology
Like all Nike football boots, the ball features ACC technology, which waterproofs the surface and provides a natural bounce without adding weight.
The ball, officially named Ball UEFA Flight Women Euro 2022 White-Racer Pink-Blue-White, will be used in stadiums during the tournament.
