Palmeiras & PUMA Reveal 2026 Home & Away Kits

Palmeiras and PUMA Brazil have unveiled the Verdão’s 2026 Home and Away kits, combining innovation, heritage, and purpose. The collection debuts on Saturday, 10 January against Portuguesa in the Campeonato Paulista. For the first time since the partnership began in 2019, the entire kit range is crafted from 100 percent recycled polyester, marking a significant sustainability milestone for both club and brand.

2026 Home Kit: Green Base with Italian Tricolour Details

The Home shirt stays true to Palmeiras tradition with its iconic green base. A fresh twist appears in sublimated green and red stripes running down the sides, a subtle nod to the Italian tricolour. The collar features an unprecedented hybrid “U” shape – green at the back of the neck, white at the front, finished with fine green and red detailing that directly references the Italian flag. The shirt carries the club’s standard crest and includes a special sign-off on the back, with an Italian flag just below the collar.

2026 Away Kit: Clean White with Elegant Stripes

The Away kit adopts a clean white base with a classic straight polo collar in green, white, and red. Two thin vertical stripes – one green, one red – run down the front, adding elegance and intent. Like the Home shirt, it features the club crest, a special sign-off on the back, and an Italian flag below the collar, paying tribute to the Italian-Brazilian founders of 1914.

Sustainability Milestone: 100% Recycled Polyester

The entire 2026 collection is produced using 100 percent recycled polyester for the first time since PUMA and Palmeiras joined forces in 2019. This aligns with both organisations’ commitments to sustainability, ensuring performance and identity are not compromised.

Campaign Honours Club Origins

The launch is accompanied by a campaign titled “Onde houver um palmeirense, haverá Palmeiras” – “Wherever there is a Palmeiras fan, there will be Palmeiras.” Filmed in southern Italy, the birthplace of club patron Luigi Cervo, the campaign retraces the journey of Italian immigrants who crossed the Atlantic to Brazil at the turn of the 20th century. The visual storytelling bridges the Old World and the hope-filled shores of Brazil, mirroring the origins of one of world football’s most decorated clubs. The campaign name itself comes from club archives, inspired by 1914 meeting minutes when Luigi Cervo declared that even the presence of a single supporter would keep the newly formed Palestra Italia alive during World War I.

“The intention behind filming in Italy was to celebrate and acknowledge the roots of the immigrants who came to Brazil to build their history. The shirt is not just a uniform; it appears contextualized in real life, as if it had always been there, part of that origin,” explains Luciana Soares, Marketing Director of PUMA Brazil.
