As the new season approaches, Puma has unveiled the Faster Forward Pack, introducing fresh colourways and the next generation of its two flagship football boot ranges: Future and Ultra. Puma Future Z: Electric Blue Design and Technical Features
The Puma Future football boots receive a striking colour update in the Faster Forward Pack. The high-performance Future Z is now finished in electric blue, accented with white and red detailing. This visual overhaul makes the boots stand out instantly on the pitch.

The colour scheme naturally brings to mind Uruguayan forward Luis Suárez, who plays for Atlético Madrid wearing their red-and-white kit with blue details. It is a combination that Puma likely considered when selecting this palette for the new pack.

Technical Specifications: Puma Future Z
The Future Z is built around the FuzionFit+ adaptive compression band, which provides lockdown, support, and increased agility for multi-directional movements. The upper features GripControl Pro for refined ball touch and control. Underfoot, the Dynamic Motion System outsole offers an advanced stud configuration for traction and multi-directional movement.

Puma Ultra: A New Generation with Women’s and Unisex Models
The Faster Forward Pack also introduces the next generation of the Puma Ultra range. A key change is the creation of two distinct models: one designed exclusively for women and a unisex version. The women’s boot features a narrower last and a different stud plate that replaces laminated studs with conical ones, adapting to the anatomical needs of female players.

The unisex model retains the same outsole as its predecessor, featuring 11 laminated studs for stopping, accelerating, and traction at top speed – a configuration suited for FG/AG surfaces. The instep and ankle area continue to use EVOKnit material, offering both comfort and support.

The most notable update is the upper. Puma has introduced a transparent-trend design, with several clear panels that reveal the colour of the wearer’s socks. This new upper is constructed from MATRYXEVO, a yarn-based material that makes the Ultra lighter and more minimalist, while delivering a purer feel for the ball. The upper also features GripControl Pro technology for enhanced grip in possession.

The exterior design of the new Puma Ultra comes in a salmon/orange colourway with blue and white detailing. This shade was chosen to create visual harmony with the Future model in the Faster Forward Pack.

GripControl Pro provides enhanced ball control during attacking play. The lightweight MATRYXEVO technology incorporates responsive carbon fibres for superior grip during rapid forward movements. The ultra-fast SpeedUnit outsole, inspired by running spike DNA, enables quick acceleration.

The Faster Forward Pack marks Puma’s launch of the 21/22 season, with the brand’s players set to wear these new boots from the opening matches.
