The ‘Faster Football’ movement focuses on positive change and accelerating the pace of the game. The new Puma Ultra 1.3 boots embody this progress with innovative materials and construction. By offering both a unisex fit and a women’s‑specific fit, Puma aims to reach all athletes and reduce the gaps between men’s and women’s football.

The Ultra 1.3 boots are designed for explosive straight‑line speed. Worn by Antoine Griezmann, Kingsley Coman, Sergio Agüero, Nikita Parris and Eugénie Le Sommer, they are built to be the fastest in football.

Both versions of the Ultra feature a lightweight MATRYXEVO fabric that incorporates technical carbon fibres and transparent monofilament threads. The material is paired with a new SPEEDCAGE that provides multi‑layered support for a wider range of rapid movements. Transparent ‘windows’ cut into the midfoot reduce weight, making the Ultra 1.3 lighter than the previous generation.
Other updates include the GripControl Pro upper, which now covers the entire top of the boot for a textured surface that aids decisive ball control. The unisex Ultra boots have an ultra‑fast, lightweight PEBA SpeedUnit outsole for extreme acceleration, while the women’s‑specific Ultra boots use a customised PEBA outsole with tapered studs for greater stability.

The Future Z 1.2 represents a redesign of the upper, giving the boots worn by Neymar a more attractive look. The standout technology remains the Fusion Fit.
