PUMA have launched the first Future silo of 2026, the Future 9 ‘Cosmic Art’. This bold, expressive rework of the playmaking boot was already spotted on pitch during Aston Villa’s 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest, worn by Morgan Rogers. Now officially unveiled, the ‘Cosmic Art’ combines a vivid colour palette with a flowing, motion-inspired design that reflects the creative ethos of the Future franchise.
Design and Colourway
Officially listed as “Lapis Lazuli/Bright Aqua/Green Glare/Glowing Red”, the colourway goes far beyond a simple description. A deep blue base is overlaid with a wavy graphic that ripples across the forefoot, creating a sense of movement and energy even when the boot is still.

Bright electric green swirls through the design like a cosmic current, extending from the soleplate up onto the upper. The result is layered and chaotic in an artistic way, bringing a spirit of creative freedom that aligns with the Future silo’s identity.

On-Pitch Debut
The ‘Cosmic Art’ made its first appearance in competitive action when Morgan Rogers wore the boots during Aston Villa’s 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest. PUMA also selected players like Sandy Baltimore for the initial on-pitch debut, reinforcing the boot’s connection to risk-takers and playmakers.

A Visual Statement
PUMA’s latest Future drop emphasises that football boots can perform while also making a visual statement. The ‘Cosmic Art’ feels alive, representing creativity, instinct, and flair — exactly the qualities expected from a silo designed for creative players.
