Puma has released the second installment of its City Pack series, a limited-edition lineup of boots celebrating distinct global cities. Following a debut pack inspired by Copenhagen, the new collection turns the spotlight on Los Angeles, California. Created in partnership with Niky’s Sports, the pack reflects the culture and heritage of three prominent LA districts: the Jewelry District, the Floral District, and the Fashion District.
About the Collaboration
Niky’s Sports holds legendary status as a go‑to soccer shop in Los Angeles. Founded in 1986 by an immigrant family from El Salvador, the store grew into one of Southern California’s top soccer specialty retailers. Its deep ties to the local community—where each district carries its own diverse feel, proud heritage, and family history—made it the natural partner for this LA‑focused pack.
PUMA FUTURE 18 – Jewelry District
The first boot in the collection is the PUMA FUTURE 18, known for its knitted Netfit upper and bold on‑pitch presence. Its design draws from the radiant history and art‑deco architecture of the Jewelry District, the largest jewelry district in the United States. The silhouette features a full muted green upper with influences of gold throughout, inspired by cash, gold, and precious gems.
PUMA ONE 1 – Floral District
The second boot is the PUMA ONE 1, recognized for its sleek appearance. This version takes inspiration from the Floral District, a six‑block marketplace with over 200 flower dealers that traces its roots to the early 1900s, when flower farmers used horse‑drawn carriages to sell their pickings. The design uses a premium purple upper and a brown bottom, symbolizing earth itself. A floral‑themed pattern appears in the PUMA Formstripe, and embroidered details on the vamp reference the district’s area code – 213.
