Puma Tricks is back

Puma first brought the concept of wearing mismatched football boots to the mainstream in 2014, just before the World Cup. The idea itself dates back to 1998, when Rigobert Song sported two different colours of his Puma Kings during the tournament in France. Now, in 2023, the German brand revives the Tricks pack as part of its 75th anniversary, honouring those earlier designs with updated versions of its two current flagship silos.

The Tricks concept originated in 1998 when Puma player Rigobert Song subtly wore two different colours of his Puma Kings, matching the colours of his national team kit. That moment marked the beginning of the Tricks tradition.

In 2016, Puma released another Tricks pack with a different colourway and design, keeping the same message: one boot in each colour, swapped left and right. The pack delighted football boot enthusiasts at the time.
