Home Kit: A Nod to the 2015 Copa Libertadores Glory

The home jersey features the iconic red diagonal sash on a clean white base – a classic look that remains true to River Plate’s identity. Three red stripes return on the sleeve cuffs, directly reminiscent of the kit worn during the 2015 Copa Libertadores final victory. This design honours one of the most celebrated periods in the club’s history, delivering a clean, respected aesthetic.

Away Kit: Inspired by the 1975 Metropolitano Championship

The away jersey adopts a predominantly black base, complemented by dark red stripes and white accents. Its inspiration comes from a historic celebration during the 1975 Metropolitano championship, where a black and red hot air balloon was used. Subtle piping runs down the sides, the three stripes cascade over the shoulders, and a two-tone collar completes the refined look.

Debut at the FIFA Club World Cup

Both kits will make their on-pitch debut at the FIFA Club World Cup, which begins on 14 June. Alongside other clubs, River Plate will showcase these new designs during the tournament, carrying forward their 43-year partnership with adidas and the enduring essence of Los Millonarios.
