SD Huesca 2022-23 Home Jersey: A Modern Take on Classic Stripes

Just over a year ago, SD Huesca, Fútbol Emotion, and Nike reached a four-season agreement to kit out the Aragonese club. Today, the new SD Huesca jersey for the 2022–2023 season is revealed — an updated interpretation of the historic stripes that have defined the club for many years.

Design and Color Scheme

The primary colors are blue and red. Blue acts as the base — a dark, sober canvas that anchors the design. Red ties everything together through a series of stripes arranged to recreate the classic striped look the club has worn for decades.

Sleeve and Collar Details

The collar and sleeves feature a new shade of blue, darker than the rest of the kit. This use of multiple blue tones follows a trend that originates in fashion, now visible in Huesca’s 22/23 jersey.

White is used to give visibility to the club’s sponsors. Central sponsor “Huesca La Magia” appears on the chest, sleeve sponsor “Cosehisa” is on the arms, and “Sommos” is placed on the lower back. The Nike swoosh sits at the same height as the club crest.

City Crest Motif

A notable detail: in the lower right corner, the phrase “Urbs Victrix Osca” is printed. This Latin motto means “Huesca, the Victorious City” and appears on the city’s coat of arms. It establishes a meaningful link between the club and the city, adding a sense of belonging to SD Huesca’s new 22/23 jersey.
