Spain’s Misa Rodríguez and Portugal’s Inês Pereira were the first to wear the Earhart Pro gloves, a model created specifically for the 2023 Women’s World Cup. These goalkeeping gloves address a long-standing fit issue for female players.

Anatomical Fit for Female Goalkeepers
The key innovation of this model lies in its anatomical shaping around the middle of the hand. Before the Earhart design, women had to wear gloves in sizes that did not accommodate the distinct shape of female hands. The Earhart Pro changes that by offering a construction tailored to women’s hand anatomy.

Materials and Construction
The glove body uses latex with Gel Printed knuckles and natural latex pieces on the fingers.

Design Inspiration from Indigenous Art
The finger area features a pattern inspired by Australian Aboriginal art. The main body of the glove takes its cues from Māori tattoos, which traditionally tell a person’s life story. In Māori culture, the flower represents women, while the turtle stands for strength, patience, and perseverance.

The palm is constructed from 3.5 mm German GigaBlock latex paired with 3 mm foam, using a Rollfinger cut and a thumb wrap.

Custom Features for World Cup Players
The back extension is made of latex and includes an elastic fastening strip. The version used by Misa Rodríguez and Inês Pereira during the World Cup was specially modified and displays the flags of Spain and Portugal on the extension.

These gloves have been designed and manufactured for professional competition.
