The Spanish brand SP Fútbol continues its Christmas tradition with the release of the El Factor X CHR collection. Inspired by The X Factor—the intangible quality that sets elite goalkeepers apart—the collection places a bold X design on the back of five glove models. Here is a model-by-model breakdown of the new colourways and key features.
SP Earhart Goalkeeper Gloves (Women’s Fit)
The SP Earhart model, designed for women’s hands, features a combination of blue shades with pink accents. The pink appears only on the brand logo and finger details, giving the gloves a distinctive finish.
Functionally, the Earhart gloves remain unchanged from the previous generation. They retain the same materials and technologies, with only the design updated for this collection. SP Fútbol’s work on this model is notable, as these gloves are frequently seen protecting goals in Liga F.
SP Pantera Goalkeeper Gloves
The Pantera model, a growing favourite among SP’s flagship goalkeepers such as Dani Cárdenas of Levante UD, is dominated by red on the upper backhand. The lower portion is finished in white, covering the neoprene area and the closure strip.
A black PU seal hides the seams between the two materials on the back. This detail not only serves a functional purpose but also enhances the visual design. Like the Earhart, the Pantera evolved in the previous El Factor X collection and does not feature any technological alterations.
SP Atlas Goalkeeper Gloves
The Atlas is the standout model of the collection. The backhand uses various shades of green that fit together seamlessly, creating a subtle yet striking finish that highlights the X motif. The lower portion is predominantly black, covering both the elastic breathprene and the closure strip.
No changes have been made to the Atlas’s materials or technologies. Feedback from goalkeepers indicates that the current setup remains competitive against top gloves from other brands.
SP Valor Goalkeeper Gloves
The Valor model receives a material update: the previous Viscoblock latex has evolved into Viscoblock+. This is still a viscoelastic foam but uses a new formula to improve grip and speed up activation.
Design-wise, the Valor features white latex on the backhand, black neoprene for the glove body, and fuchsia pink accents used for the X motif found across the CHR collection.
SP Zero Goalkeeper Gloves
The Zero is SP Fútbol’s most minimalist silo. Its one-piece LatexBody construction allows for extensive sublimation, enabling a wide range of colours, gradients, and patterns. For the CHR collection, the Zero gloves are finished in orange, starting dark at the bottom and lightening toward the top. White logos and a latex wrap on the thumb add contrast.
The Zero is the brand’s seamless glove, designed for goalkeepers who prefer minimal material between their hand and the ball. It offers a lightweight, minimalist feel.
The SP Fútbol El Factor X CHR collection represents a colour update for all five silos, which will be seen on pitches during the second half of the season.
