Goalkeepers face constant battles against the elements – water, snow, and especially wind. Wind is a persistent companion throughout the season, unavoidable and often disruptive.

SP reflects this struggle against nature, as well as the trust placed in goalkeepers. The La Rosa de los Vientos collection paradoxically brings together multiple winds and the fight against them at the same level. Each glove line is named after a wind from the Iberian Peninsula.

SP Odín II CIERZO

Odin, the Norse god of war, is allied with the Cierzo – a wind from the Aragon region that each year reduces thermal sensation in the Ebro valley. The Elite CHR and Elite Wet&Dry CHR lines feature in this collection, but the premium Q-Block latex and the water-specific Aqualove+ latex are the true standouts. The Odín line, introduced in the 2016-2017 season, quickly became a favourite among goalkeepers. Since its creation, this model has fully met the demands of professional players competing at the highest level.

SP Mussa TRAMONTANA

Mussa is designed like a boxing glove, prepared for the toughest battles in goal. Its inspiration comes from the cold, turbulent Tramontana wind from the Mediterranean coast. The glove’s defining characteristic is its sturdiness. The Mussa Strong variant is built for those who want to feel raw power in their hands – strong, robust, and ready for ball impacts. It is available with pre-activated Connect Grip latex or Aqualove latex. The Mussa Air version maintains extreme sturdiness while being lighter for better ball feel.

SP Valor 409 MISTRAL

This line blends the values and respect of classic goalkeeping. The enthusiasm that went into manufacturing the original Valor 99 model remains present in the 2018-2019 season. The Valor series has evolved year after year, preserving its traditional 1990s essence while using top-quality materials. The name Mistral refers to air currents descending the Pyrenees, cooling both Aragon and the Mediterranean area. From the PRO model for professional players to the Training line for game initiation, every tier is designed to fight the wind. It is one of the most complete lines in the SP range.

SP Pantera Orion GALERNA

Pantera is a true all-terrain model. The name Galerna describes the sudden storm that lashes the coast with rain, violent winds, and dropping temperatures. The SP Pantera Orion is a favourite among both SP designers and goalkeepers. The Pantera glove offers a medium to high level of sturdiness, thanks to its popular DUAL CORE rubber piece.

SP No Goal IX SIROCO

While SP Odin is the king, the No Goal IX is a true leader. This glove captures the speed and reflexes of a goalkeeper in its essence. Lightness and minimalism define this ninth-generation model. SP chose the name Siroco – a wind from the Sahara that reaches Southern Europe at hurricane speed, aligning with the glove’s philosophy. This seamless glove is constructed in a single piece with a negative cut. Gel injections provide additional sturdiness for blocking. It is available in PRO, Aqualove, Iconic, and Training tiers.

SP Earhart 2 ALISEOS

The warrior of the team, Earhart represents the female hallmark of the Spanish brand. The line is named Aliseos after the tropical wind of the Canary Islands – a warm wind that, unlike other winds in the collection, is more active in summer than winter. SP is deeply committed to women’s football, and this line reflects that dedication. The Earhart 2 features a closer-fitted pattern achieved by re-measuring the fingers. A different latex-textile distribution improves handling while protecting the weakest points of the hand. It will be available in PRO (professional), Iconic (mid-tier for training and matches), and Training (daily use) tiers.
