The adidas Locality Pack: A Celebration of Creativity and Colour

The adidas Locality Pack football boots mark the final stage of an unprecedented season, completing the Art of Football design language originally conceived for the cancelled EURO 2020. With a vibrant palette inspired by the brushstrokes of the Uniforia Pack, these boots aim to create an unmissable moment of surprise on the pitch. The Locality Pack turns Next Gen players into artists, using movement as paint and the pitch as canvas, inspiring creativity among football’s creators.

Locality Pack – Football’s Collection of Colours
Eighteen of Next Gen’s top players will be supported and showcased on the pitch through light, colour, and joy, thanks to these football boots. The roster includes:
- Timo Werner
- Dani Olmo

- Joao Felix
- Dele Alli
- Matteo Guendouzi
- Stefano Sensi
- Steven Bergwijn
- Justin Kluivert

Anika Marie Kennaugh, product designer at adidas, commented after the presentation of The Art of Football and the launch of the new EURO 2020 ball: “When we design a Uniforia, we always aim to reflect the culture; what is the spirit of the streets that we can proudly showcase in the stadium? What we saw in our cities—all of which are key—is the need to come together and unite for change.”
adidas Copa 20+
There is not much difference from its predecessor, the adidas Copa 19+ boot, which appeared in the previous Mutator Pack. From a technical standpoint, the Copa 20+ is outstanding: it features an upper made entirely of kangaroo leather that wraps around the entire surface and is sealed to prevent warping. The innovation lies in the shell, where small filaments create a 3D design across the upper, offering greater grip and control with the ball.

The leather blends seamlessly with adidas’s Primeknit in the ankle area, securing the foot firmly within the boot. The forefoot area is essentially uncluttered because this boot has no laces. This laceless kangaroo leather boot combines classic materials with a thoroughly modern design. The new Exoframe plate uses two densities to provide brilliant weight distribution without compromising traction, featuring 13 semi-conical studs that are slightly more up-to-date than those on previous adidas Copa Mundial Classics.
adidas X19+
The upper of the adidas X19+ uses ultra-soft X-Layerskin technology. This material is thinner, softer to the touch, and more pliable than previous versions, offering greater comfort and improved ball feel. The weave on this speed boot has been modified to be slightly more aggressive yet still soft, enhancing ball grip alongside comfort.

The Speedframe plate, popular with X players, provides excellent traction and comfort, particularly thanks to the external heel cup that secures the foot perfectly to the base.
adidas Predator 20+
The new adidas Predator 20+ is now available. A total of 406 studs cover the most frequently used striking areas, continuing the design philosophy Craig Johnston introduced on his 1992 prototype. The classic adidas Predator history is closely linked to split soles, and this time the Control Frame makes its debut in 2020 after years of anticipation. The upper, known as Demon Skin, features a Primeknit construction with laceless technology to provide grip during boot-to-ball contact.

This boot is described as the master of game control, utterly demonic, capable of making the wearer feel like the true master of the football pitch.
