adidas has unveiled the official away kits for all its partner federations, including 13 nations qualified for the FIFA World Cup 2026. Following the same approach used for the home kits in November, the iconic Trefoil appears across the entire range — marking its return to the World Cup for the first time in 36 years. The jerseys are inspired by each nation’s character and culture, blending classic adidas World Cup design cues with modern looks.

Sam Handy, GM Football at adidas, noted that bringing the trefoil back to the biggest stage felt fitting for a defining era of football culture. Each jersey pays homage to the country while offering designs that transcend the pitch and the stands.
Nation-by-Nation Away Kit Highlights
ALGERIA

Inspired by the vibrant colours of rocky deserts and lush oases, the away jersey features interspersed vertical green stripes set against a striking deep green base. “ALGERIA” is proudly inscribed in Arabic across the back of the neck.
ARGENTINA

The away jersey draws from Argentina’s rich artistic heritage with a distinct swirling blue graphic pattern on a black base. Hints of white enhance stylised lines, floral swirls, and climbing plants. A bespoke “Argentina” motif sits in front of the Sol de Mayo on the back of the neck.
BELGIUM

An all-over pattern in light blue, pink and white pays tribute to Belgian surrealist René Magritte. Layered lines and shapes nod to his work, with elements of the nation’s crest and football symbols. A subtle detail inside the neck reads “Ceci n’est pas un maillot” (“This is not a jersey”).
CHILE

Chile’s away kit takes inspiration from the flowering desert phenomenon of the Atacama Desert. Striking pink flowers appear in an all-over graphic on an off-white base with subtle brown detailing. A shield motif from the Federation crest adorns the back of the neck.
COLOMBIA

Celebrating Colombia’s unique biodiversity, the jersey blends the palettes of its two coastlines — darker blue shades of the Pacific and lighter Caribbean hues — through staggered vertical lines. Bold yellow trim details and “COLOMBIA” across the back of the neck complete the design.
COSTA RICA

A dynamic blue and fuchsia graphic incorporates elements from the Toucan and rainforest leaves. The phrase “Pura Vida” is etched on the back of the neck, reflecting the nation’s lively culture.
CURAÇAO

]
The away kit celebrates Willemstad’s colourful Punda and Otrobanda districts with a pastel yellow base and bold pink, turquoise, and orange stripes. Intricate blue detailing flows through sleeves, cuffs, and the adidas logo outline.
GERMANY

]
The last kit from the current adidas-Germany partnership. Diagonal chevrons in navy blue form an all-over pattern. Colours nod to DFB history — from the 1954 blue quarter zips to 90s training wear. A flag label at the hem celebrates the partnership since 1954.
GREECE

]
Inspired by 80s jerseys, the away kit features a deep-blue look with vertical stripes referencing Greek pylons. “1926” is inscribed on the back of the neck in Greek to mark the federation’s centenary.
HUNGARY

]
Colour inspiration comes from the national colours: white base with deep red detailing. The shirt celebrates the federation’s 125th anniversary with a bespoke 125 back-neck sign-off in dark gold.
ITALY

]
Based on traditional Italian tailoring, the jersey replicates intricate weaves of smart suit jackets in light blue and white. Marine blue and gold detailing appear on sleeves and logos. A monogram-inspired “italia” on the back of the neck signifies ownership and identity.
JAPAN

]
The design draws from “Colours Beyond the Horizon” with 12 distinct colours in a stripe graphic. Eleven fading vertical lines symbolise the players, while a bold central stripe represents the fans. The Japanese flag appears on the back of the neck.
MEXICO

]
Inspired by patterns known as ‘Grecas’ from traditional architecture, the jersey features an all-over grey graphic on a white base. The phrase “SOMOS MÉXICO” is scribed into the back of the neck.
NORTHERN IRELAND

]
A cloud white jersey with mint green diagonal lines pays tribute to fan support. The number 12 is etched in Roman numerals on the back of the neck.
PERU

]
Celebrating Peru’s ‘Chicha’ design culture, the black base is accented with fluorescent magenta, solar yellow, and solar orange on the trefoil and stripes. A “Peru” tag on the back of the neck carries those colours.
QATAR

]
An abstract grey wave-like graphic inspired by desert sand dunes adorns the jersey. “Qatar” is etched in Arabic across the back of the neck.
SAUDI ARABIA

]
A bespoke weave pattern on a pearlescent white base captures Saudi fashion. The emblem of a palm tree and crossed swords is printed on the back as a nod to heritage.
SCOTLAND

]
Scarlet red tones return with thin purple vertical stripes. A purple and green thistle, Scotland’s national flower, adorns the back of the neck.
SOUTH AFRICA

]
A bold statement in green and gold, with a traditional green base and detailed white and gold trims on the collar. Gold and white accents on cuffs and logos reflect timeless elegance.
SPAIN

]
An intricate pyrite colour pattern inspired by classic book manuscripts on an off-white base. Gold and burgundy details on sleeves and neckline. “ESPAÑA” with the distinctive Ñ celebrates Spanish language and culture.
SWEDEN

]
Three different tones of blue form a bold all-over graphic inspired by 70s patterns. Modern typography on the back of the neck reads ‘Sverige’.
UKRAINE

]
A striking reinterpretation of traditional cultural elements in a mystery ink colourway on a blue base. In vibrant yellow, “Ykpaïha” is inscribed on the back of the neck.
UAE

]
Inspired by the Federation’s logo mark, the deep red base features an all-over lighter red graphic with crisp white trims. The geometric pattern takes cues from shield shapes in the logo. The nation’s flag adorns the back of the neck.
VENEZUELA

]
A crisp white jersey with yellow, red, and blue detailing carried through the stripes, logos, and badge. The crest resembles that used between 1961 and 1967. “LA VINOTINTO” is written across the back of the neck.
WALES

]
A cream base with abstract graphical interpretations of the Welsh dragon in muted red tones. “CYMRU” and the team motto “Gorau Chwarae Cyd Chwarae” appear across the back of the neck.
