adidas has unveiled the next evolution of speed in women’s football with the F50 Sparkfusion, a boot developed in collaboration with USWNT star Trinity Rodman. Built from the soleplate up to meet the performance needs of female players, the Sparkfusion combines elite-level engineering with bold personal expression.
The F50 Sparkfusion first appeared on pitches at this summer’s Euros in Switzerland, and now arrives in its second aesthetic iteration. The boot is the result of adidas’ most extensive foot-scanning initiative ever undertaken for women’s football, delivering a silhouette designed specifically for female athletes rather than scaled down from a men’s model.
Design Inspired by Trinity Rodman
Style meets substance in every angle of the Sparkfusion. The boot features a pearlescent white base, reflecting Rodman’s long-standing preference for clean white boots. Bold pink Three Stripes across the upper pay tribute to her signature long pink braids, while light blue detailing on the heel counter and collar threads through the design to match her distinct flair on and off the pitch.
From the toe to the midfoot, a vibrant pink “F50” graphic takes centre stage, bringing the attitude expected from one of the most electric forwards in the game.
Trinity Rodman’s Reaction to the Release
Speaking on the release, Rodman shared: “Growing up as a kid in California, I could never have imagined a day where there would be a cleat literally inspired by me. It makes it even more special knowing it’s a cleat built by, and for, female soccer players. I can’t wait to wear them.”
