The United States men’s national team did not qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, but the focus remains on the future. Nike has released a new jersey set that will be worn by both the men’s and women’s national teams in upcoming international fixtures. The women’s team, winners of the 2015 World Cup in Canada and the most successful nation in women’s World Cup history, will take part in the 2019 World Cup in France.
Home Jersey
The home jersey features a modern design dominated by white. Blue and red stripes fade into the white fabric, creating a diagonal line from the collar on the upper left side to the lower right side. This fading effect offers a fresh representation of speed.
Away Jersey
The away jersey uses a similar but opposite design approach. Over a night blue base, light blue stripes fade from right to left – the reverse direction of the red-and-blue fade on the home kit.
