Designed by Drake Ramberg, the shirt takes its central inspiration from the element that defines the city of Venice: water.

Design Concept: Shades of the Lagoon

The jersey features layered shades of blue intended to reflect the depth and constant motion of the Venetian lagoon. The tones shift across the fabric, mimicking water in flux — calm in one moment, restless in the next. Some observers note that the design is essentially a blue rework of Venezia’s current fourth shirt, raising the question of whether this level of variation might have been better positioned as the club’s official fourth kit from the outset.

Campaign: “Siamo Nati Sull’Acqua” (Born on the Water)

The jersey is the centrepiece of the campaign titled Siamo Nati Sull’Acqua (Born on the Water). The campaign frames water as origin, movement and shared identity — the force that shaped Venice and continues to connect everyone who calls it home. True to Venezia’s approach, the club involved contemporary creative voices from the city, turning the launch into a collective expression of belonging rather than a standalone product drop.

Venezia FC has built a global reputation on narrative-led design, and this release stays firmly on brand. Tancredi Vitale, Managing Director of Venezia FC, explained the thinking behind the project:

“This project continues the narrative that defines Venezia FC: a Club deeply rooted in and inseparable from its city, yet driven by a bold, contemporary, and global creative language. With the 25/26 Special Edition Fourth Jersey, we wanted to create something that authentically brings together design, culture, and community — true to Venice and meaningful beyond its borders. The campaign reflects our belief that football can act as a cultural platform, capable of connecting people, disciplines, and stories through a shared sense of belonging.”

On-Pitch Debut
